As promised in Part 2 of our series, we've come up with a list of blogs and sites with information for MilHusbands. Check them out below:

•  www.milhusbands.com is the joint project of two military husbands, John Avelis and Thomas Litchford. The two have a lot in common - both are civilian stay-at-home Navy husbands, dads - and beer enthusiasts. They created the site to serve as a place for fellow male spouses to find friendship and advice - hard to find in the female-dominated spouses' club. In addition to blog posts, the site also has forums where MilHusbands can stop by and discuss everything from solo parenting to DIY projects to… beer. In addition to Milhusbands.com, John and Tim both have their own individual blogs, listed below.

Coffee and Diapers is the blog of John Avelis, a self-described Navy husband, stay-at-home dad, amateur cook, homebrewer and wannabe writer. John and his wife currently live in Norfolk, but are soon moving to Sasebro, Japan - looks like the picking up and moving across the world part of military life is the same for all[/italic] milspouses. John blogs about his life with his Navy wife, Ruth, and their toddler, Theo.

The Life and Times of a Navy Husband is the blog of Thomas Litchford, a freelance writer and a Navy husband. He writes about his life with his wife, Danielle, and toddler, Sean. Thomas also writes a monthly column in "Military Spouse" magazine (check out sample columns and blogs for milspouse.com).

Navalgazing is the blog of Mitja Ng-Baumhackl, husband to a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy JAG Corps, and full-time father of their daughter, Citrus. He writes about his life as a Navy husband and father currently stationed in Singapore.

Dad Stays Home is a message board for stay at home dads to connect and share experiences and tips. It isn't solely military-focused, but it has a lot of resources for you full-time MilDads out there - definitely worth a look.
